Thanks to The Gibler Team for giving us a peek into what makes the Ninth Street Historic District so unique -- click on the video above!
The Ninth Street Historic District is a group of 44 historic buildings located along Ninth Street on the western side of downtown Cincinnati, between Vine and Plum. Most of the buildings were constructed between 1840 and 1890, when Cincinnati was experiencing its greatest period of growth.
Few Cincinnati streets retain such a cohesive collection of nineteenth-century architecture as do these three blocks of Ninth Street. You’ll find an array of Queen Anne, Italianate and Greek Revival styles of architecture in this district.
Plus, a few-minute walk along these beautiful tree-lined streets will get you to shopping, dining, coffee shops in the area, or OTR, Court St, or the Central Business District.
So if you’re looking for a quiet, quaint street, surrounded by history and beautiful architecture in the heart of downtown check out West 9th St!
