Thanks to The Gibler Team for giving us a peek into what makes the City of Milford so unique -- click on the video above!
Milford is an easy 16 miles east of downtown Cincinnati across the Little Miami Scenic River in Clermont County. The City offers the convenience of being close to Cincinnati with a laid-back lifestyle and many opportunities for outdoor recreation including a ride along the Little Miami Scenic Bike Trail, a trip down the Little Miami River on a kayak or a visit to Valley View, a 150-acre nature preserve on the Little Miami. Milford's mix of accessible natural spaces and a charming, yet lively downtown definitely makes it truly unique.
Milford is a very walkable and bike-friendly community. Tons of cute boutiques and shops, bars and restaurants, and lots of things to do. Little Miami Brewing has a really nice patio area to enjoy food, drinks and music right on the water. Speaking of live music, the city hosts a live music series downtown, every Saturday this summer starting tonight, June 10, through August 12.
Downtown Milford has exploded with new development over the past several years — residential with new townhouses and condos, as well as commercial, like with the new Cincinnati Distilling that opened last year — mixed with beautifully reimagined historic buildings dating back to the early 1800’s, that residents and many retail businesses now call home. In fact, the new Nation restaurant is in the old Millcroft Inn space, which is over 200 years old!
Milford provides the opportunity for families to live here their entire lives by offering historic homes, affordable family homes, upscale townhomes and top-rated retirement facilities, as well as top-rated schools.
