Neighborhood Spotlight: Blue Ash Summit Park

Summit Park, located in the center of Blue Ash on the grounds of the former Blue Ash Airport, is a beautiful, 130-acre world-class park that provides exciting, year-round events, activities, and unique learning opportunities.

The free Observation Tower allows you to experience a breathtaking 360-degree view of the Tri-State. You can also discover trails, catch a fish in the pond, take your furry friend to the dog park, or stop in one of the on-site restaurants or ice cream shops! It’s also a DORA district so feel free to grab a drink to go as you enjoy other spots in the park. That’ll come in extra handy when MadTree opens the new brewery that they’ll start building here soon!

My kids love the playgrounds here. There’s one that’s more of your traditional playground with slides, ropes, climbing wall, and see-saws. Then, just south of that is a Naturescape playground, complete with an underground hobbit-hole, child-sized zip lines, and shallow water play.

Summit Park is also an exceptional venue for national and regional entertainment. There’s always concerts, food truck rallies, shopping fairs, and a bunch of events always happening here.

In the summer, there’s a Free Fitness program at Summit Park that Blue Parks and Recreation coordinates. From yoga, Zumba, and line dancing throughout the week, there’s something for everyone! In the winter months, the park offers unique and affordable fun with ice skating and sledding.

Not only is there all this to do, but you can live here too! There’s a whole neighborhood of new homes and custom homes being built, beautiful condos, and even a senior living development, all right at Summit Park!

Blue Ash is part of Sycamore Community Schools, the #1 rated public school district in all of Cincinnati, and there’s also the UC Blue Ash branch.
