Cincinnati Concours d'Elegance Revs Up to Return June 12 and 13

Start your engines! The Cincinnati Concours d’ Elegance is back in 2021 with a weekend full of events June 12 and 13. This year, the event at Ault Park is themed “An Exhibition of Motosports Excellence,” says Ann Keeling, Concours d’ Elegance’s Media Relations Manager.

The 2021 Cincinnati Concours d’ Elegance theme includes all aspects of racing including Open Wheel, Stock Car, Endurance, Straight Line Speed Racing, and Motorcycle Racing.

Additionally, special displays for the event include the 100th anniversary of Lincoln, the 60th anniversary of Jaguar E-Type, 50th anniversary of The Z, original and modified, and microcars, as well as 13 classes of classic vintage, and exotic automobiles and motorcycles.

“The Cincinnati Concours d’ Elegance is one of the most anticipated classic car show events in the United States - a world class exhibition in motoring excellence,” according to the website.

In addition to the opportunity to showcase classic and exotic cars for car automobile lovers throughout the region, the Cincinnati Concours d’ Elegance also benefits The Arthritis Foundation, with a special focus on Juvenile Arthritis.

The Concours d’ Elegance’s main car show is on June 13 from 10am-4pm at Ault Park in Cincinnati. The show is enhanced by the Will Sherman automotive fine art show in the Pavilion and a craft beer garden adjacent to the Ault Park Pavilion from 10am-3pm. There is a VIP Brunch from 11am-1pm at the Ault Park Pavilion.

Other events preceding the main Concours d’ Elegance include the Countryside Tour and Hangar Party at the Executive Jet Management Hangar at Lunken Airport.

According to Keeling, the Countryside Tour sponsored by Lincoln of Cincinnati is a scenic driving tour departing from Horsepower Farm in Middletown. Refreshments will be provided at the start of the event.

Staging, registration, and the informal car show begins at 12pm and the drivers’ meeting will be held at 12:45pm before departing at staggering times.

Saturday evening, from 5-9pm, is the Hangar Party at Lunken Airport’s Executive Jet Management Hangar. This event boasts exotic cars, motorcycles, private jets, and luxury motor coaches on display. Sponsored by Porsche of the Village, more than 600 guests will enjoy a display of jets and collector and exotic automobiles. Guests will also enjoy a catered “dinner by the bite” and a silent auction.
