Whatever "it" is for you, Angie gets it done.
"My whole career, I've overheard bosses and colleagues say 'Angie gets it done!' because I'm always the one they can 100% depend on and trust to things done," says Angie Dodge, founder of A Squared Personal Consulting. "So a few years ago, I decided to build a business around that with 'Angie gets it done' as my tagline."
For 20 years, Dodge was a c-suite level executive assistant. She started in Germany for the Air Force, and then in Cincinnati for Fifth Third Bank, Cincinnati Bell, and a small market research firm. During this time, she also received her degree in HR Management. "I just love working with people and accommodating all different needs and personalities," she says.
In 2019, a friend asked Dodge to help her with an extensive to-do list, which inspired her to launch A Squared Personal Consulting on the side while she was still employed. "My friend was well aware of my reputation for getting things done, and she became my first client. I thought this would be a side gig and more concierge-based," she says. "But just a few months later, word had spread and I had gained three more professional clients and I haven't looked back since. My business is now my full-time career and employ several other amazing women as well. It's very fulfilling!"
Dodge now has a team at A Squared Personal Consulting offering Virtual Executive Administrative Services, Human Resource Management Support, Project Management, Accounting Services, and full stack back office support. "It's a great fit for small businesses that aren't ready to hire full-time help. We're a team of seasoned professionals with a wide variety of experience and can be nimble and adaptive with your needs," she explains. "Only need an excel spreadsheet set up? I have a person able to do that. Need to hire? We can do that, from advertising to interviewing and background checks. Our business model is set up to save the time for executives, former executives, business owners and busy people alike so they can focus on the things that are truly important to them."
When it comes to her favorite thing about her business, Dodge says it's helping organizations and people thrive. "I love seeing when the businesses we support start to grow and function the way they should for continued growth and success and knowing my team helped them get there," she says. "And I love giving people back the time and peace of mind they need to live their best life."
Dodge will be the 11:30am speaker at the upcoming Empowering Her Small Business Expo Sept. 24 at 21c downtown with the topic of The ABCs of Successful Leadership. "If you're a CEO, executive, or entrepreneur, this engaging and practical presentation tailored to empower you with the essential tools and insights needed to excel in leadership roles," Dodge says. "This presentation is thoughtfully designed to equip small business owners with actionable strategies, real-world guidance, and a growth-oriented mindset, essential for navigating challenges, seizing opportunities, and fostering innovation within their enterprises."
