Turner Farm is a 240-acre organic farm in Indian Hill that offers health-conscious cooking classes this fall called Teaching Kitchen. Participants will learn how to properly cook with organic, seasonal produce to get the best nutrients out of every bite. Robert Edmiston, Executive Director of Turner Farm, started the program to provide a source of nutritional education. He says, “We recognize our responsibility to be proper stewards of the land, ourselves, and our community.” ADDRESS: 7400 Given Road (45243) / Image courtesy of Turner Farm // Published: 10.15.19
The program is part of a national teaching kitchen collaborative and is housed in a fully renovated, 100-year-old, two-story barn. The spacious kitchen can fit eight two-person teams to work alongside Chef Stephanie Michalak, while televisions in the accompanying room expand the learning to up to 50 guests. You can schedule you own private event for anything from team building excursions to club outings. They’ll even personalize the class to focus on what you want to learn about. Open classes are also available and listed on their website. / Image courtesy of Turner Farm // Published: 10.15.19
