Excitement is reaching a fever pitch in Cincinnati as we celebrate the Bengals' first Super Bowl appearance in over 30 years! We're so proud of our team — humble and hard-working, yet always the underdog. But they refuse to believe the nay-sayers and instead very much believe in themselves, executing at the highest level while “leaving it all on the field” and the doubters in the dust. We’re proud of them most of all because they are showing the world what Cincinnati is all about.
To celebrate the big game, we've created a SUPER punch recipe to serve up while watching Super Bowl LVI. All you need besides a huge bowl and plenty of cups is a dry sparkling wine, vodka, ginger ale, and a box of Mixicles Curated Collection, available at your neighborhood Kroger store. While you're at it, pick up some oranges and a pint of Cincinnati-based Madisono's Lemon Basil sorbet. These two additions really put this punch over the top!
Start by pouring the sparkling wine, vodka, and ginger ale into a large punch bowl. (It works best if you chill these in advance.)
Then add the orange slices and Mixicles.
To serve, put a scoop of sorbet in each cup and ladle the punch into the cups. If you didn't chill the liquid ingredients in advance, you may wish to add ice or an extra Mixicles cube to each cup when serving.
A word of caution (or endorsement, if you prefer): you can't really taste the alcohol in this drink. Indeed, some might say it packs quite a "punch"!

SUPER PUNCH BOWL
- 4 Blueberry Lemon Basil Mixicles cubes
- 4 Cranberry Rose Mixicles cubes
- 4 Lavender Peach Mixicles cubes
- 1 bottle of Prosecco (750 mL) or other sparkling wine, chilled
- 1 bottle of vodka (750 mL), chilled
- 1 bottle of ginger ale (500 mL), chilled
- Oranges, cut into round slices
- Lemon basil sorbet, for serving
How to Mix:
Pour the vodka, Prosecco, and ginger ale into a large punch bowl. Add the Mixicles cubes and orange slices. For serving, place a scoop of sorbet in each cup before ladling the punch. Repeat and revel in the moment. It's our time.
