Sip Spotlight: Rosemopolitan

Rosemopolitan cocktail, featuring Cincinnati-based MixiclesRosemopolitan cocktail, featuring Cincinnati-based Mixicles

Done well, the Cosmopolitan is a perfect balance of sweet and tart flavors. By swapping out the usual cranberry juice for Cranberry Rose Mixicles, this recipe adds delicate floral notes to the mix and takes this popular cocktail to the next level of sophistication.

Impress your guests this holiday season with a specialty cocktail that’s a cinch to make and a festive, gorgeous color to boot. You don’t even need regular ice — the Mixicles cubes will chill the drink thoroughly as you shake to dissolve them. (And if you don’t have a cocktail shaker, just use a lidded jar.)

Happy holidays!

  • 1 1/2 oz. vodka
  • 3/4 oz. orange liqueur (like Cointreau)
  • 1/2 oz. fresh lime juice
  • 2 Cranberry Rose Mixicles cubes

How to Mix: Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker and shake until the Mixicles dissolve. Strain into a martini glass and garnish with cranberries.
