CincItalia, the Cincinnati Italian Festival, returns this weekend - June 2, 3 and 4 - with local Italian food, wine, beer, live music and plenty of fun and games for all ages.
The festival kicks off with an adults-only (21+) "Carnevale" celebration on June 2, featuring live music by The Rusty Griswolds from 6 p.m. to midnight. June 3 and 4, all ages are welcome for a variety of games, prizes, music and family fun.
Live music throughout the weekend also includes The Pete Wagner Band and Italian tenor Elio Scaccio on Saturday, and Ray Massa and the Eurorhythms on Sunday.
Try your luck at Bars & Bells, Big Six, and Split the Pot. Or buy chances to win prizes like STIHL lawn care equipment, $1,000 in Italian restaurant gift certificates, plants and more. Also returning this year is CincItalia's popular $10,000 Main Award Reverse Raffle.
Also, come hungry, as you'll be able to sample more than 50 food items from 12 food booths with everything from lasagna, spiedini, arrosticini, fried ravioli, stromboli, cavatelle and grilled Italian sausage, tiramisu, cannoli and homemade Italian cookies.
Don't forget to bring some Italian heritage home with you as you shop a variety of vendors featuring homemade Italian goods. CincItalia is free to attend. The festival is located at Harvest Home Park, at 3961 N Bend Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45211. CincItalia benefits St. Catharine of Siena Catholic School in Westwood, which enrolls students in grade K-8.
