Our first full day of spring will likely be our best of the week as another string of weathermakers moves in to close out the work week. We'll reach the mid to upper 50s this afternoon, back above normal after our latest blast of wintry weather and cold. While temps will continue to climb tomorrow and Thursday, rain and gusty winds will be likely. Scattered showers arrive in some areas before midnight tonight with rain likely early and late tomorrow. We'll catch a little break tomorrow afternoon in most areas in-between weathermakers. Winds will kick-up to 25 mph or so tomorrow and Thursday. Temps will briefly surge into the upper 60s and low 70s Thursday with a mainly dry day until late in the evening. Heavy rain will be likely that evening and through the day Friday as a potent weathermaker slowly slides through. Most areas will see over 1" of rain with some areas set to see more than 2" of rainfall. Watch out for flooding and high water as we close out the work week. Most of the wet weather will move out through the first half of our upcoming Saturday but it will be windy with gusts over 40 mph possible. Sunday will be our next driest day until more rain moves in early next week.
