Seven Chic Christmas Tree Decor Themes

Even though Thanksgiving hasn't happened yet, we know you're itching to crank up Mariah and decorate for the holidays already.

Decorating with holiday decor you already have at home, but want to spruce it up to look on-trend? Sacksteder offers a few tips:

- Place ribbons or garlands on your tree before hanging ornaments (watch the video above for some great how-tos and tips!)

- Start with your most basic ornaments or the design with the highest number of pieces.

- Hang them evenly around your tree to lay the foundation for other decorations.

- Add the rest of your ornaments. Make sure to leave enough space between decorations of the same style.
