Matilda Coming to Cincinnati This February!

A family-favorite mind-moving little hero is coming to town February 5-14 thanks to The Children's Theatre of Cincinnati!

Roald Dahl's "Matilda" is the story of an extraordinary little girl who is unloved by her parents and often the target of headmistress Miss Trunchbull's bullying. Miss Honey and Matilda team up to take a stand against Miss Trunchbull before living happily ever after.

From an admired children's book to a beloved childhood movie, to a show-stopping Broadway production, Matilda has long-held a place in the world of entertainment.

And now, The Children's Theatre of Cincinnati (TCT) is giving a new generation the opportunity to love the same character we did.

Roald Dahl's Matilda The Musical Jr., ideal for ages 4 and up, will include the following showtimes:

  • Saturday, February 5 at 2pm
  • Saturday, February 5 at 5pm
  • Sunday, February 6 at 2pm
  • Friday, February 11 at 7pm
  • Saturday, February 12 at 11am
  • Saturday, February 12 at 2pm
  • Sunday, February 13 at 2pm

There is also a sensory-friendly performance of "Matilda" scheduled for February 9 at 1pm for individuals on the autism spectrum as well as children (and adults) with other special needs who may benefit from such a performance. The sensory-friendly performance takes place in a welcoming, supportive environment and slight adjustments to lighting and sound are made and minimized.
