Eighty one years. That's a long time to be in business, but for Krombholz Jewelers, it's more of a family tradition.
Opened 81 years ago in Silverton by Mallie and Herb Krombholz, the jewelry store has been based out of Montgomery since 1975. Lee Krombholz, third generation jeweler, now owns and operates the award-winning store with his two daughters, Kirtley and Izzi, and his wife Heather.
This June, the family is celebrating their more than eight decades in style. "We wanted to have an 80th anniversary event last year, but Covid had other plans," says Kirtley, marketing manager at Krombholz Jewelers. "So, it's more of an 80 + 1 anniversary party. Now we have even more to be thankful for and toast to this year."
To celebrate, Krombholz Jewelers is hosting its Irresistible Sale June 23-26th with hours Wednesday through Friday will be 12-6pm and Saturday from 10am-4pm. The event will also include jewelry at 15-75% off. They will be honoring the past Krombholz designs by asking clients to wear their custom pieces and share the stories behind these special creations.
Kirtley says she takes pride in the opportunity to carry on this family tradition and business while serving the customers who have been visiting the store for years. “We cherish our customers whose families have shopped with us over multiple generations,” she adds.
