Here Comes the Sun! Vintage Market Days Dayton-Cincinnati April 21-23!

Spring has sprung and Vintage Market Days of Dayton-Cincinnati is set to bloom April 21-23 2023 at the Greene County Fairgrounds & Expo Center in Xenia. With the bright and cheery theme "Here Comes the Sun," this expanded event will fill four barns with a curated selection of 130 vendors and business owners from 16 states in a range of categories.

We talked with Vintage Market Days of Dayton-Cincinnati owner Tonya Ross about what's new and what to expect at this year's Spring event.

"Our shoppers asked for more vintage, so we added some incredible vintage vendors to this event that I'm really excited about. These vendors have been scouring the hills and valleys across the U.S. for the perfect vintage goods," she shares. "Plus, you'll find lots of other decor styles from boho, to eclectic, modern farmhouse, mid-century to primitive. There is something for everyone."

Ross adds that several vendors are exclusive to Vintage Market Days.

“They’re traveling to town just for our Ohio event. We have vendors from New York and California making the journey, plus several local businesses.”

Also new this year are several interactive experience stations:

  • The Plant Bus: meet the plant expert and purchase indoor/outdoor plants in the interactive plant experience.
  • Hat Bar and Permanent Jewelry: Customize your hat attire and select permanent jewelry that fits your personality.
  • Build-a-tier Tray: Pick and choose seasonal sign minis to make the perfect tier tray.
  • Build-a-flower bouquet: Stop by our vendor booths offering spring floral and customize with vintage containers.
  • Scrumptious tasting stations: You can sample fudge, popcorn flavors, bakery specialties, specialty dips, elderberry juices, apples, and so much more.

There will also be lots of food an entertainment.

“We’ll have a Food Truck Rally with lots of new food trucks added,” she says. “There will also be an indoor dining hall with live music from Jim Kelly Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Plus, live music from Tesa Marie added to the entrance on Friday and Saturday.”

They offer free bag check on Friday and Saturday, so you can safely store your purchases while you continue to shop all four barns.

Find something heavy? “We make it easy to get that one-of-a-kind furniture home,” says Ross. “Just pull up to the load zone and our team does all the lifting and loading.”

Ross says one of her favorite parts of Vintage Market Days is seeing how it’s more than just a shopping event for people. “We see girlfriend groups making a weekend of it, mothers and daughters spending a fun day with each other, families dancing to the music together,” she says. “Many of them make it an annual tradition. It’s so special to see.”

It’s easy to capture the memory making in action with several indoor and outdoor interactive photo walls throughout the event. Plus, a selfie at the wall gets you re-entry throughout the weekend.
