Vintage Market Days of Dayton-Cincinnati is hosting its spring shopping event (yes, a real live event!) at the Greene County Fairgrounds April 16-18.
Filling three barns in Xenia, Ohio, Vintage Market Days' spring event is featuring 120 small business from across the country. Plus, food trucks, live music and even a spring-inspired selfie wall to give attendees a full day of fun while browsing all things vintage-y, reclaimed, shabby chic and charming.
"Vintage Market days is an upscale vintage and vintage-inspired indoor/outdoor market featuring original art, antiques, clothing, jewelry, handmade treasures, home decor, outdoor furnishings, consumable yummies, seasonal plantings, and a little more," says Vintage Market days of Dayton-Cincinnati Owner Tonya Ross.
The three-day event is held several times a year, in communities throughout the United States. And each event offers up its own unique opportunity to vendors - allowing them to display their talents and passions.
"The Market also provides the customers with a very special shopping experience," adds Ross. "We love the thought of bringing the vintage experience to both vendors and customers throughout the country."
Ross says the goal behind Vintage Market Days is to create an experience for the shoppers who come to see vendors. She says that you don’t have to come just one day, either. "It’s really important to come back because the vendors restock and re-merchandise their inventory every evening," she says. "Each day is a great opportunity to come back and find something new."
There are multiple opportunities to shop the "Bloom" Vintage Market Days event April 16-18. The Early Buying Event is from 10a-4p on April 16. General Admission is from 10a-4p on Saturday, April 17, and from 10a-3p on Sunday, April 18.
Children under age 12 are admitted for free. Once you purchase your ticket, you may re-enter the event all weekend. It's all for a good cause, too. "Our local non-profit is Circle of Victory, which helps local cancer patients and their families," says Ross. "As a breast cancer survivor myself, it's so fulfilling to know that we can have a fun event that also raises funds for a cause directly helping cancer patients in our community."
