After over 50 years in business, Wiseway Supply Lighting and Plumbing Showroom has developed lots of trusted partnerships.
Perfect example: Jim Cutter, founder of Cutter Construction and Cutter Custom Homes. one of Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky's most reputable and trusted builders.
"We've been working with Wiseway for over 20 years," Cutter says. "They have a wonderful showroom, great people, very courteous. Our goal is to keep our customers happy, and we couldn't have picked a better supplier to make that happen."
Wiseway Sales Consultant Jessica Brown says Wiseway works with clients to get all the lighting and plumbing needed for their new home. "It's really a one-stop shop," she explains. "They start by creating a wish list on our website. Then the client comes to our showroom to touch, feel and see any items they're considering. Our Our design team offers design ideas and suggestions, and then the client makes selections. We work with the builder from there to get everything in and looking beautiful."
Brown says a big kitchen trend continues to be cast iron farmhouse sinks.
“I love the Kohler cast iron sink. It's guaranteed to not chip, crack, or burn.” Also, she says, Delta faucets with H2Okinetic Technology are in big demand. "It has a special spray with extra water pressure. I call it the 'peanut butter spray' because nothing gets dried, stuck-on peanut butter off like this does."
In the bathroom, Brown shares, free-standing tubs are a growing trend. "For showers, people love hand showers. It's great for showering, and keeping your shower and tub clean. I personally love the Moen magnetic shower heads that can be used as a handheld and then snaps into place as a regular shower head."
In both the kitchen and bathroom, mixed metals are trending. "We're seeing a lot of black, brushed, or polished brass, champagne bronze, gold, polished nickel, and brushed nickel hardware," Brown says.
As for outdoors, Cutter says clients are wanting more livable outdoor space. "I would even say it's beyond trend," he adds. "An extension of the indoor space into covered porches, screened porches with great lighting is almost a demand now."
Brown says lighting -- everything from canned lights or coach lights -- can help extend the time you're able to spend outdoors. "We're also doing a lot of outdoor ceiling fans for outdoor living spaces," she adds. "We can do damp rated or wet rated fans depending on where they'll be used. And outdoor heaters, too. They can really extend that comfort and time spent outdoors that everybody loves."
Cutter says that he enjoys getting feedback from homeowners to share with Wiseway.
"We get the opportunity to talk with clients long after they've moved in and get to hear lots of great insight," he says. "They'll tell us what they use way more often than they ever thought, what works well, and other feedback that we can share with Wiseway that helps them offer tried-and-tested advice to their other customers."
Brown says that working with Wiseway Supply, whether you're working with a builder or coming in on your own, is like hitting the “easy” button.
"Consultations are always free and we love offering design ideas," she says. "You can even go online and create a wish list so you already know what you want to look at before you even step foot in the showroom."
