Otherworld is a massive art installation that also functions as a type of surreal playground of sorts for visitors to explore and interact with. Over 40 artists fill 47 rooms with sci-fi and fantasy related art displays and experiences using dozens of projectors and 190,000 LED lights. The 32,000-square-foot space is located in an empty strip mall around 15 minutes outside of downtown Columbus. ADDRESS: 5819 Chantry Drive, Columbus, OH (43232) / Image: Catherine Viox // Published: 9.10.19
Guests can navigate through the dreamy, iridescent rooms freely. The narrative behind the exhibit is to imagine yourself as a research participant who was invited to explore a laboratory dabbling in “alternate realm tourism” where you'll discover fascinating, abstract escapes the “lab” is working on. / Image: Catherine Viox // Published: 9.10.19
