With All New Characters, This Year’s Disney On Ice Promises To Be The Most Fun Yet

Disney’s classics speak for themselves. Snow White? The Little Mermaid? The Lion King? Aladdin? Fugettaboutitttt

But the Disney/Pixar braintrust has been hard at work over the last decade ensuring their new stuff is equally delightful and doubly empowering. Enter Toy Story, Tangled, and Frozen, all packed with heartening messages about perseverance and friendship.

Which is exactly what makes Disney On Ice so captivating. It offers the old classics you know and love alongside the modern hits that are all the rage with the kids. And this version of the show is even better, because it features new-to-the-rink Pixar favorite, Finding Dory.

WHAT YOU’LL SEE

Magic. Color. Whimsy. Fantastic props. Indelible costumes. And great lighting. Not to mention some phenomenal music, which—fine—you won’t actually see, but you know where I’m going here.

This edition of Disney On Ice promises all the above—and more. The show gets off to a fast, foot-stompin’ start when Toy Story-favorites Buzz, Woody, and Jessie teach the crowd how to boogie rodeo-style.

Soon we meet the show’s familiar hosts, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy. They lead the crowd through the Disney vault, a treasure trove of classics that includes the likes of Timon and Pumbaa, Aladdin and Genie, and Snow White and the seven dwarves. All the while you and the kids will learn priceless lessons about what you can accomplish when you’ve got friends by your side.

Those lessons carry through the rest of the show too. Whether you’re singing along with Elsa and Olaf, escaping a tricky situation with Rapunzel and Flynn, or following along with the notoriously forgetful Dory, you and your family will come away from each number with unbridled excitement.

By the end, you’ll have met 50 of your favorite Disney/Pixar characters from eight of your favorite Disney/Pixar films, while jamming to some of the best music and enjoying some of the best visuals around. Best of all, there’s something for every generation to love, whether you’re a fan of the classics or prefer that newer Disney/Pixar magic.

So grab your tickets today, and get ready for a memorable night at the rink.
