The Mockbee's Holiday Fair (Dec. 21-22) Is Something You Don't Wanna Miss

The Mockbee Holiday Fair is on December 21 and 22 from 4 p.m. to midnight, and you should probably go.

Why? Let us fill you in.

The Mockbee Is A Very Cool Space In A Very Cool Place

(Pictures, anyone?)

Once a brewery, then a tool company, then a winery, the newly renovated Mockbee building is now (you guessed it) a bar and event venue. (It opens at 4 p.m. every day with a happy hour until 8 p.m. that supports nonprofits.)

And it’s a very cool space. Carved into the side of a hill overlooking OTR and the West End, the building abounds in cavernous rooms and underground tunnels. Even better, its colorful and textured interior distinguishes it from Cincinnati’s other industrial-chic brewery rehabs, as does its use as a venue for arts, music, and events.

Then there’s Brighton, the OTR/West End neighborhood where The Mockbee is located. In the constellation of Cincinnati’s up-trending neighborhoods, Brighton might be the most interesting star. Definitely worth checking out for its bohemian and underground feel.

Which Brings Us To That Holiday Fair which you can expect fun activities like music and henna, as well as a variety of vendors selling art, chocolates, baked goods, clothes, vintage and handmade accessories, and floral art pieces.

Just to reiterate, that’s December 21 and 22 (yes, it starts tomorrow) from 4 p.m. to midnight. The Holiday Fair supports the Cincinnati Film Society, ArtsWave, and local small businesses.

So check it out guys, and thank us later.
