Get your flower crowns and sunglasses ready: Bunbury, Cincinnati’s largest music festival, is back at Sawyer Point for 2019. Starting Friday, May 31 through Sunday, June 2nd, Sawyer Point and Yeatman’s Cove will be filled with festival-goers, top bands at multiple stages, food, craft beer, and a whole lot more.
Every day is packed with music from a variety of genres, from rock, to hip hop, to alternative, and more. Some highlights:
- Fallout Boy
- Stone Temple Pilots
- Machine Gun Kelly
- Greta Van Fleet
- Dashboard Confessional
- Young Heirlooms
- The 1975
- Girl Talk
- Run the Jewels
Set times (subject to change) will come out next week, so stay tuned to Bunbury on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and bunburyfestival.com for those times.
Didn’t get enough music during the day? For the first time, Bunbury will have late night after parties.
Friday: American Authors at Aloft at Newport on the Levee
Saturday: Friday Pilots Club at Mikey’s Late Night Slice
Sunday: Lovelytheband at Memorial Hall, sponsored by IHeartRadio
Hungry or thirsty? There's tons to eat and drink. Mikey’s Late Night Slice, which just opened a location on Elm Street near Rhinegeist, will have pizza. Island Noodles, a perennial fan favorite, will be back, along with the Craft Beer Village featuring an exclusive Bunbury brew from Braxton Brewery.
Sleepy Bee Café will be working with local artists for installations around the festivals, and Bunbury is excited to welcome back the Cincinnati Zoo, who will be around the festival talking about bee conservation.
Whew! What a busy weekend. The best way to keep track is to download the Bunbury App (on iTunes or the Google Play store) to set up your personal lineup, find your favorite food and drinks, and get information about weather delays or just when the next act is up.
Single-day, multi-day, VIP and Ultimate VIP tickets are still available (though VIP and Ultimate VIP are almost sold out). Get your tickets on the Bunbury website.
