This February, Pure Romance is taking a page out of Kim Kardashian’s book by bringing an exclusive pop-up shop to Cincinnati.
The temporary, one-of-a-kind space will showcase all of Pure Romance’s best products in celebration of the company’s monumental 25th anniversary. You’ll find Pure Romance classics, including beauty items and the hottest bedroom accessories, as well as an array of new products we, er, can’t actually tell you about. Suffice it to say, they’ll satisfy that Valentine’s Day itch like nothing else you can find.
A few perks you can’t find online: products are up to 25 percent off. You’ll receive a complimentary gift with every purchase. And on February 4, the first 250 people through the doors will receive a $25 coupon, so you’re sure to leave better equipped than when you entered.
But the products aren’t the only reason to go. There’s a candy theme throughout the shop, a live wall, and a great neon set up spot, where you won’t need a filter to turn out a pic worth posting.
The candy theme, the wall and the neon signs are what pop-up shops are all about. Part art exhibit, part Instagram showpiece, they line the streets of world cities like London, Paris, New York, San Fransisco, Melbourne, and Amsterdam.
Brands from Kate Spade to Gucci are part of the push. So are celebrities like Kendrick Lamar, Kylie Jenner, David Beckham, Gwyneth Paltrow, Justin Bieber, Rhinanna, Drake, Kanye West, and Mrs. Queen Diva herself, Kim Kardashian.
Half of the fun is that, well, they can get a bit weird. At a SoHo storefront, you can experience Google’s most advanced mobile devices, though none of them are for sale. At a Tokyo shipping container, you can get nutrient supplements for the price of your most recent fast-food receipt. At a Monaco cafe, you can grab a juice in florescent packaging courtesy of global paint manufacturer—yes, paint manufacturer—Pantone.
And, starting February 1, you can go to Kenwood and immerse yourself in Pure Romance’s latest and greatest products. It’s sort of like stepping right into their Instagram feed, and it’s not an experience you’ll soon forget.
The shop is fleeting, though—it only lasts until February 16. Then it’s sayonara to the products, the cotton candy, the living wall, and the most unique shopping experience in the city.
So get down there while there’s time. Your valentine can thank us later.
