The Woeste/Mahle Residence on Mulberry Street in Over-the-Rhine is a LEED Gold certified home that links three individual old buildings into one cohesive dwelling. The owners bought the property in 2012 and spent the following years designing and transforming it into their home. A Baptist Church renovated and connected the three buildings in the 1960s and moved prior to the current owners purchasing it. / Image: Phil Armstrong, Cincinnati Refined // Published: 4.2.18
Jeffrey Jakucyk of ArchitectsPlus was the lead designer for the house remodel. To achieve LEED Gold status, solar panels, low-flow water fixtures, drought-tolerant landscaping, and high-efficiency fixtures (among others) were added. Sol Design + Consulting were their LEED consultant. Graybach was their general contractor. / Image: Phil Armstrong, Cincinnati Refined // Published: 4.2.18
