Honey Collective provides an interactive shopping experience where customers can personalize items like jewelry, stationery, bouquets, and more for gifts or special occasions like weddings. It’s made up of Chelsea Mead of Honey Designs Jewelry and Morgan Merk of Honeybee Creative. They share a space with Katie’s Blooms in Newtown. ADDRESS: 6852 Main Street (45244) / Image: Daniel Smyth // Published: 12.10.20
The two vendors behind Honey Collective individually worked in the field of weddings and events and met at a wedding-styled photoshoot in 2018. They became fast friends, sharing a passion for spreading joy and love through intentional gifting, and it wasn’t long before they began collaborating on projects for clients. They opened their combined shop in September 2020. / Image: Daniel Smyth // Published: 12.10.20
All three businesses have something different to offer. Katie Smith of Katie’s Blooms has a floral bar to create the perfect arrangement, Morgan designs the greeting cards and offers a customizable card wall, and Chelsea offers a diverse ring and jewelry selection to create exactly what a client wants. The three create a wonderful experience for engaged couples while guiding them through the wedding planning process. / Image: Daniel Smyth // Published: 12.10.20
Whether someone is creating a ring or selecting an invitation with a special wax seal, the businesswomen love interacting with clients on a regular basis. Items that aren’t made by their own hands are sourced from as many women-owned businesses as possible. Products being made in the USA is another signature trait of their merchandise. / Image: Daniel Smyth // Published: 12.10.20
