If there is one particularly fun thing about Christmas, it’s the lights. And Christmas Nights of Lights at Coney Island features over a million of them.
What the folks at Titan Light Shows are putting on this year is particularly spectacular. They’ve added even more features to their 2.5-mile long drive-through show, including a new tunnel of lights. Dancing trees, snowflakes, Santas, candy canes and more are synchronized with over 40 minutes of the jingling-est, rocking-est holiday tunes; all broadcast through your car’s radio—so there’s no need to freeze your you-know-what off to take it all in.
This is a Christmas light show that will make any Clark Griswold type you know swoon in admiration: Over one million LED lights, driven by over 50,000 computer channels, synchronized to both traditional and new Christmas music. But don’t just take our word for it, check out the gallery, and take a look here.
Gather your crew into the Family Truckster and get into the holiday spirit. Protip: go during the week for a more relaxed experience (that is, no weekend lines!).
If you go on Thursday, November 15, Christmas Nights of Lights at Coney Island will donate one dollar of each paid admission to Children’s Hospital’s StarShine Hospice program—and there’s no better way to celebrate the holidays than by giving, and being a light to someone else.
