Co-owners Donna Hoffman and Emily Bosse Woolum opened the shop in October 2020. The operation of creating wedding bouquets and centerpieces originally functioned out of Hoffman’s home for years. Opening a brick and mortar location was important to Hoffman and Woolum because they wanted a space where people had room to be inspired and creative. / Image: Katie Robinson, Cincinnati Refined // Published: 12.5.20

The space is also available to rent for small events, private parties, etc. with ample room for a few tables and chairs, as well as a kitchenette. Whether it’s for a small bridal or baby shower, birthday gathering, or hosting a class, the cozy space is perfect for hosting. Craft classes are also held in the space monthly, focusing on fun activities like wreath-making and creating your own succulent garden. / Image: Katie Robinson, Cincinnati Refined // Published: 12.5.20
“At Buds, brides are welcome to bring in their bridal parties and spend a day making their own bouquets, boutonniere, and centerpiece,” explains Hoffman. “With our guided help, this service is a great option for brides on a strict budget. This is a unique way to spend quality time with friends and family prior to their special day.” / Image: Katie Robinson, Cincinnati Refined // Published: 12.5.20
