There’s A Reason Why We’ve Been Going To Trio Bistro For 20+ Years

When you've been around for 20+ years, apparently you're doing something right. And nothing could be closer to the truth for Trio Bistro, a Kenwood staple that manages to hit the right notes on gourmet dining, whilst keeping it casual.

Trio is the perfect spot for many things. Let's see here... post-shopping lunch date with the gal pals? Check. Sunday brunch with the out-of-town fam? Check. Business dinner to close that important deal? Check. Whether it's a special occasion or a regular ol' Wednesday evening, there's something for everyone.

As for what Trio offers me, it's simple: the most magnificent salmon salad imaginable. Sure, there are lots of things that pique my interest on the menu, but there's one item — especially if I'm there for lunch — my stomach craves on a consistent basis. And it's divine. That bed of field greens topped with crispy potato straws, feta, tomatoes, cucumber, and, obviously, Scottish Salmon is... LEGEN (wait-for-it) DARY. Yes, legendary.

Note: Personally, I like to sub out the citrus vinaigrette with balsamic.

But hey, that could just be me.
Do you, ya know.

Of course, I'd be remiss not to include the omelet features during Sunday brunch... Oh yeah. If the salmon salad is divine, then let's call the omelets a little slice of heaven. Too much? Nah. If you think so, it just means you haven't tried The Cowboy (feat. ham, bacon, andouille sausage, onion, red pepper, cheddar jack, jalapeno & pico de gallo) before. 'Cause once you've had The Cowboy, it's game over.
