Prime Cincinnati Kicked Off Its New Life With A Hoppin' Casino Night

Prime 47, Cincinnati’s Sixth Street steakhouse, is now Prime Cincinnati.

To celebrate the change, the restaurant partnered with nonprofit Envision Children to host Casino Night 2016, benefitting youth education. The event was well attended by Cincinnati’s business elite and boasted delicious samplings of their brand new menu, surrounded by dazzling entertainment. Prime Cincinnati will continue to be an epicenter and gathering point for charitable organizations and activity within the Greater Cincinnati community.

To be sure, the restaurant is still dedicated to serving the highest quality cuts of beef, but it's making some additional changes along with the new moniker.

Art. Wine. Seafood. Ownership. Lunch. That’s what’s different and what excites the management team moving forward.

Art: Prime Cincinnati’s interior is undergoing a makeover. The restaurant will feature art with a focus on Cincinnati, including paintings by local artist Carlos Navarro and photography from Steven Thomas.

Wine: Prime Cincinnati is placing a heavy emphasis on wine, with 20-30 new levels added to its wine list. With this renewed focus on creating a destination wine list, guests will have an entirely new platform to enjoy adventurous pairings of the finest and most unique wines available in Cincinnati.

Seafood: Prime Cincinnati is now serving a fantastic selection of fresh seafood, shipped in from Hawaii on next-day air. This includes opah, swordfish and sushi-grade tuna. Executive Chef Shawn Heine is excited to add these seafood options to his already first-class and highly diverse menu.

Ownership: Prime Cincinnati’s rebranding coincides with the purchase of the restaurant by Managing Partner Nelson Castillo and Tony Birkla and Bernie Bold of Anderson Birkla Investment Partners. Prime Cincinnati is proud to be a locally owned Cincinnati restaurant.

Lunch: The restaurant’s new point of emphasis is lunch – specifically, providing an atmosphere suitable for businessmen and women to entertain clients or enjoy a great menu amongst colleagues. Prime Cincinnati currently offers a $12 Fall pasta menu, as well as other classic favorites such as steak, duck, osso bucco, and signature sandwiches.
