Although COVID-19 stalled their earlier plans, MPH Brewing opened their doors to the public on Memorial Day weekend, 2020. MPH stands for Montgomery Public House, though owners and employees like to think it also means “Making People Happy”. Their beers are brewed in-house where patrons can also enjoy wine, bourbon, brick oven pizzas, and appetizers. It’s open Tuesday through Sunday. They also serve beer from Left Hand Brewing out of Longmont, Colorado. MPH’s general manager Jim Christmann and his cousin, Left Hand co-founder Eric Wallace, were looking for a place to create a Left Hand taproom in Cincinnati. He met with the founders of MPH and decided it was a good fit to merge the two ideas. Proceeds from the sale of Left Hand's Wheels Gose 'Round goes to MS research. / Image: Elizabeth A.
