Owner Elizabeth Hughes does a lot of the baking, but she’s also joined by a small team that includes Kim Sieckman and Brian Lewis (cake decorators), Lisa Pilger and Claire Campagna (cookie decorators), and Ellen Suetholz, who runs the front of the shop and assists in decorating. Hughes originally functioned out of a commercial kitchen she set up in her home before opening up the shop in 2017. Her grandma “Mimi” and great-grandma were fantastic bakers who influenced her passion for the craft. / Image: Katie Robinson, Cincinnati Refined // Published: 11.29.20
