Small Biz Owner Sanchez Thomas Makes Tasty, Affordable, Nourishing Juices

Juice’d-Tox Juicery is a small juice business looking to take the Cincinnati health industry by storm. Owner Sanchez Thomas believes his sole mission is to provide his community with tasty, affordable options to nourish the body. Each of his cold-pressed, organic juices are packed with vitamins, nutrients, and fresh whole ingredients that help support a wide variety of health benefits such as boosting immunity and detoxing.

Thomas’ motivation behind Juice’d-Tox derived from an interest in his own health journey, as well as his mom’s struggle with diabetes. She’s the one who told him about juicing, and from that point, he began creating recipes and connecting with juicery owners from all over to learn more about it. He also realized he could incorporate his background in hospitality with his new-found love of cold-pressed juice, finding a way for the two passions to coincide when it comes to helping others.

In 2017, Thomas took the leap and started making and selling juices out of mason jars with his business partner, Dennis Stone. It was originally called “Chez Got the Juice”. “I had these terrible plastic bottles where I was drawing my name on the labels,” Thomas explains, referencing those early days. After a year, the two decided to take a new approach and made changes to their marketing, branding, and inventory. Even the business’ name was reconsidered, which is when they landed on Juice’d-Tox Juicery.

When it comes to the future of Juice’d-Tox, Thomas plans to open a franchise and purchase a juice truck to sell his products throughout the Greater Cincinnati area and around Ohio. He currently offers cold-pressed juices, vitality shots, smoothie bowls, sea moss gel, and plenty more to come.

Thomas hopes his line of work is not only beneficial to his mom but to others looking to get on a healthier track, especially people of color, when it comes to combatting the cycle of diabetes, high cholesterol, and other diseases and health risks.
