Everything Rules About Aster, But Brunch Is Where It Truly Shines

You are Downtown. It's Sunday morning.

Last night? So fun. Totally late-night out with the friends, and oh-so-worth-it.

Today? You just woke up. It's 10 a.m. Okay, who are we kidding, it's 11:30 a.m. Alright, fine...1 p.m. All you want is food and a little hair of the dog with great music and a gorgeous balcony.

You're in luck. Aster, also known as Aster on Fourth and Aster Social Sippery, is the newest member of Downtown's brunch option population. The brainchild of Frances Kroner and co-owners Sandra Gross & Dr. John Hutton of Sleepy Bee Cafe fame, Aster opened in early January. And with help from general manager Zachary Shumate and beverage director Giacomo Ciminello, Aster is absolutely killing it.

Although it's a full-service bar with food that's served until close, I fell head-over-heels for their weekend brunch. Chill on one of the comfy couches while downing some cocktails and a little avocado toast. Or try a lamb BLT or any other of their brunch dishes.

As long as you're there between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m on Saturday or Sunday, brunch is yours.

Aster is located at 8 E. 4th Street (45202) on the third floor of the building. It is open every day except Tuesday.
