Support ArtsWave's Annual Campaign This Spring By Getting Your Drink On

ArtsWave, Cincinnati’s nationally recognized united arts fund, is teaming up with some of the best local bars, breweries, and restaurants. (If that doesn’t describe a culturally thriving city, I don’t know what does.)

Yep, it's time for Toast to the Arts! By going to MadTree, Rhinegeist, Listermann Brewing or Blank Slate this spring, you could be helping ArtsWave in its mission of creating a vibrant regional economy and a more connected community.

It doesn’t seem like it should be that easy, but it is. You go out for a sudsy good time on the town and the community benefits.

MadTree Brewing: ArtsWave is MadTree’s "charity of the month." Anytime in March, you can “Toss-a-Buck” (i.e. a cash donation) through the metal grating above the bar. At the end of the month, the funds are collected and donated to the selected charity in this case, ArtsWave. And be sure to mark your calendar for a special Give Back Happy Hour on Tuesday, March 14 from 5-10 p.m!

Rhinegeist Brewery: Every Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. Rhinegeist and Cincinnati Public Radio co-host Charitable Suds, a taproom event where a portion of the proceeds go to local charities. On March 29, that’ll be ArtsWave.

NOTE: ArtsWave will be organizing entertainment for the MadTree and Rhinegeist evenings on the 14th and the 29th, respectively. Stay tuned to find out who it is!)

Blank Slate Brewing Company: Every Sunday in the month of April, Blank Slate will host ArtsWave at the brewery and donate a portion of all beer sales directly back to the ArtsWave Community Campaign.

Roots Is Back! ArtsWave, Blank Slate Brewing Company, and Listermann Brewing Co. have collaborated on Roots, a refreshing pale ale brewed with ginger. ArtsWave gets a portion of every beer sold, whether you buy it at retailers (Kroger, Jungle Jim's, Cappy's, BC Bottle Lounge and more) or participating bars throughout Cincinnati (Americano Burger Bar, Arnolds Bar & Grill, Cappy’s Norwood, Listermann Brewing Co, Queen City Exchange and Restaurant L).

Not by a long shot. ArtsWave’s 2017 Cocktail Competition runs February 13 through April 17. Twenty-six bars are competing in all. (You can find the list here, or check out our gallery.)

You've got two months to taste as many cocktails as you can. If one should titillate your tastebuds, throw it a vote here.

The Toast to the Arts Wine Promotion is another great way to support ArtsWave. Fourteen venues are participating in this one. (Here you go, just scroll down a bunch.) Proceeds from every glass and bottle of the featured wine sold will help support the ArtsWave Community Campaign.
