Visionaries + Voices, a non-profit arts organization, opened a retail store in their Northside Gallery + Studio. They invite people to create and design something of their own while offering the opportunity to purchase unique works made by resident artists. V+V promotes and assists over 140 artists with developmental disabilities, as well as provides professional education and exhibition opportunities. The group hosts five exhibits a year in the Northside Gallery. ADDRESS: 3841 Spring Grove Avenue (45223) / Image: Kellie Coleman // Published: 1.30.20

The retail shop itself got started after each exhibition began offering merchandise themed around the artist’s gallery. This expanded into what is now known as the “Visionarium.” The educational space originally thrived in Oakley for two years before V+V decided to take the momentum to their Northside Studio. It functions as an outlet for budding artists as well as a way for new teachers to learn how to write a curriculum for a classroom setting. / Image: Kellie Coleman // Published: 1.30.20
