Cincinnati is a relatively large Midwest city with a little bit of everything. In the summer, we have pool parties at Ziegler Pool and yoga on the lawn in Washington Park. In the winter, we congregate around a warm fire while enjoying a cold craft beer with friends.
We work off those aforementioned craft beers with trips to any of our many YMCA locations. If we're up for it, we can take cooking classes to teach us how to eat better so the hard work we did at the gym pays off. And if the notion of exercising entails a running a pup around, Cincinnati has plenty of dog parks for us.
To afford what we want, we work for it. Our many coffee shops wake us up in the morning, and our coworking spaces (yes, plural) keep us productive until we go home at night. After work, we indulge in the arts whether they be on TV or live and in person.
You get the point. The list goes on. Ours is a city of innumerable amenities, both professional and personal. You don't have to go far to find engaging activities and comfort in the Queen City.
So when we took a long, hard look at the new RED Apartments in Madisonville, we recognized something we've come to appreciate about our city. Like Cincinnati, the RED is a place for that very same engagement and comfort.
With an unprecedented list of amenities, the RED seamlessly combines many elements of what we love about living in our city into a tidy, four-story living community. It is, in a way, almost like a self-contained Cincinnati within Cincinnati.
The RED has a pool and hosts parties with live music during the appropriate season. It has a three-acre dog park, a gym, a kitchen where residents can learn to cook, a tech-enabled lounge, and an all-season entertainment pavilion with a performance stage. Residents get together for craft beer nights, Wine Down Wednesdays, and yoga on the lawn—the latter of which is actually healthy for residents' liver.
Unique artwork enlivens the resident areas. The entire community is smoke-free. The building has a resident gaming lounge, concierge service, and a parking garage filled with more spaces than you'd expect.
And, in keeping with the modern era, the RED has an app for all of it. Events, special offers, and nearly everything else residents need can all be found on a smartphone.
To further emphasize how desired they are, 95% of the RED is already leased at the time of this writing. But don't worry; only the first of three buildings are finished. Two more will add a substantial amount of new apartments to the community, giving it a total of 299 units. One of those could end up being yours if you cross your fingers long enough.
And even if the RED is a self-contained mini-city overflowing with features that swirl around the core concept of a strong community of neighbors, it's also within a reasonable walking distance of MadTree Brewing in case you want to make every night a craft beer night. And yes, the walk is reasonable. We promise.
