Jessica & Paul Marsh are the married duo behind Taproot & Co. The Hebron family business makes handcrafted wooden signs and free-standing cutouts, most of which are customized. The custom signs are perfect for nurseries, events, parties, and business logos for anyone who wants to add a slightly rustic and personal touch to a room. Clients can pick from all sorts of products in a variety of colors, sizes, fonts, and styles for a completely tailor-made piece. / Image courtesy of Taproot & Co. // Published: 2.5.20
The business started in 2017, a year after their twin girls were born. Jessica and Paul were constantly receiving compliments and order requests from friends who noticed the handmade wooden signs throughout their home. Since they were gaining a lot of business through word of mouth, they decided to turn their projects into a profession. They have plans to build a workshop barn in Walton to work out of as a way to expand their workspace. / Image courtesy of Taproot & Co. // Published: 2.5.20
Paul came up with the name Taproot for the business. As a strong, single root, it represents how the Marshes feel about their business and knowing things can grow off of it as it expands in the future. / Image courtesy of Taproot & Co. // Published: 2.5.20
