Sara Green Will Redesign Your Room Without You Ever Having to Leave It

We've all ogled the perfectly staged home online. And we've all probably wondered how we could redesign our own home to make it look like it does in a magazine.

What if I told you that you CAN have the look of your dreams with guided expertise from a local interior designer, and you wouldn't even have to leave your house to put it all together?

With all the buzz around DIY, flipping homes, and staging the perfect space, there is an urgency and pride in doing things ourselves. But it can seem overwhelming, and out of budget, to have that flawlessly polished look. Hiring an interior designer can set you back $800-$1000 per hour, and then you end up asking yourself things like, “What did I really learn during this process?” and “How can I really enjoy the fruits of my labor?”

Sara Green found a niche need in the eDesign market. She is the photographer and creative entrepreneur behind Sara Green Collective, a company dedicated to “all things pretty" from home furnishings, to party planning, fashion, and photography.

She started a design business that offers a place to see a room, click to shop, and have access to her vision when executing your dream room. She graduated from Mt. St. Joe as an interior design major, but while starting her business, she knew she wanted to do more than draw floor plans. She wanted to give energy and a feeling to a room, and, most importantly, simplify the process. Sara is a teacher at heart, so creating the how-to part of the business provided an outlet for her passion.

Sara’s 5 Steps to Begin Redecorating or Planning a Party:

  1. Connect with her at the Sara Green Collective (listed at the end).
  2. Scroll through her photos of styled rooms to find a look that speaks to you.
  3. Click on the image to purchase products that are featured in the photo.
  4. Reach out to Sara to start your personalized eDesign process.
  5. Enjoy your new space!

Sound simple? It is. Here is how it works: Sara’s services start at $150 and increase depending on the size of the project. She talks to you about what room or rooms you're looking to makeover or add a new style to. It could be as easy as looking for the right finishing touches to add to a room, or starting with a completely naked room and developing a brand-new look.

From there, the two of you discuss the spaces you love and your personal style. After she has a sense of your personality, she pulls products and designs a customized mood board, sending you the ideas once she has everything collected and ready to execute.

Once you have a final list of everything you love, she gives you a shopping list to buy the products needed for the remodeling. If you do not want to do the shopping, you can use her shopping links on her site to click, buy, and have items delivered right to your door. After you have the pieces, she sends you a floor plan of exactly how to arrange everything.

Her process for party planning is very similar when it comes to discussing themes, preferences, and inspirations that will eventually lead to setting up a plan for getting all the picture-perfect items necessary for the big day. Those services start at $75.

The benefit of having an eDesigner is all about the ease of receiving a service on your computer without having to leave your home. You can communicate as much (or as little) with Sara as you prefer in order to collaborate and make your ideal space a reality.
