A year ago, I wrote about an incredible house on one of the choicest plots of land in Mt. Adams. 1059 Celestial Street dazzles with all its imported windows, beautiful wood and stone finishes, and minimalist aesthetic. It wasn't for sale last year—it was just a story about the greatness of the house.
A lot can change in one year, though. As of today, the house is now for sale.
Designed by architect Jose Garcia with interior design by Julia Garcia, and staged by Barb Neyer, Hillary Randall, and Michael Franz at Design Lab, 1059 Celestial is a four-bedroom, three-bathroom, one half-bathroom house with a three-car garage and an excellent view of Downtown Cincinnati.
Of the high-end materials used in the house's construction, Tennessee sandstone floors, Douglas fir wood, and imported windows from Luxembourg were included. That last feature is among its biggest aesthetic draws—its minimalist, modern style exhales plenty of open space only to fill it by breathing in as much natural light as the many windows will allow.
But it's not all about the interior that makes this house special. An open-air courtyard shrouded in glass plays with the boundary between interior and exterior in the middle of the home. Above it, a massive rooftop deck covers a third of the house's total footprint.
If you've been a reader for more than a year (thank you, we love you), you'll recognize this house from that previous feature. However, if you're new to Cincinnati Refined (welcome, we love you), you need to see this house to believe it.
