Truckshop is a mobile boutique that has been roaming around and setting up shop at events throughout the Tri-state for years. Owner Ashley Volbrecht got the idea in 2012 to open a mobile shop for women to find cute, well-priced clothes. She had originally wanted to open a brick and mortar shop, but thought setting up a boutique in portable fashion would be a unique experience for shoppers. She then bought a used Keebler delivery truck, gutted it, upcycled it into a full-service boutique, and hit the road. / Image: Catherine Viox // Published: 11.16.20
<p>The truck can also make home visits for people who want to host a truck party. People will typically book it for a girls’ night, neighborhood party, fundraiser, bachelorette, or any other sort of gettogether. The truck serves the Cincinnati, Dayton, and Northern Kentucky areas. It arrives packed with goodies and parks either in the driveway or on the side of a street. They come for free for parties of eight or more, and the hostess receives discount perks.
