Catch-a-Fire Pizza’s Blue Ash dining room is not just the place to get fresh and delicious wood-fired cuisine—thanks to Amy Youngblood Interiors, it’s also a stellar example of contemporary restaurant design. The local pizza joint has always been an innovative brand, from its start as a food truck in 2013 to its first brick-and-mortar spot inside MadTree Brewing’s taproom in 2015. It’s no surprise that their first full-fledged standalone restaurant would be one-of-a-kind. It opened in July 2020. The pizzeria specializes in both American and Italian-inspired pizzas. Using locally sourced ingredients whenever possible, Catch-a-Fire offers a variety of chef suggestions throughout the menu, vegetarian and vegan options, as well as a unique selection of wine and craft beer. / Image: Catherine Viox // Published: 12.18.20

The restaurant’s interior was extensively remodeled by Amy Youngblood Interiors to create a look that was upscale and modern, yet also warm and inviting. Eye-catching colors were used throughout. AYI also designed custom millwork and a unique flame-style chandelier for the restaurant’s entryway. You can sit at the bar and see the oven where your pizza is being made, or relax at one of their comfortable booths or tables. / Image: Joe Binford via Amy Youngblood Interiors // Published: 12.18.20

Catch-a-Fire Igloos offer a private, heated dining experience to enjoy outside during the winter.
