Brush Factory is all about designing beautiful, timeless wooden furniture. I'll give you the details about their new storefront in a simple, sleek format as homage to its aesthetic.
WHO IS IT?
Rosie Kovacs and Hayes Shanesy, the minds behind the popular Brush Factory, a solid wood furniture manufactory.
WHAT IS IT?
A new retail store in Over-the-Rhine. Inside, a well-staged showroom is filled with their signature tables & chairs, candle holders, pillows, textiles, kitchen utensils, assorted home goods, and a variety of other merchandise.
WHEN IS IT OPEN?
As of this writing, it is open 11 AM to 7 PM Tuesday through Saturday, and 11 AM to 5 PM on Sunday.
WHERE IS IT?
1417 Main Street in Over-the-Rhine (45202).
WHY SHOULD YOU GO?
Brush Factory products are made to last, and, in their own words, "reflect the values of friendship and the connection made while enjoying a meal and friendly conversation." You don't often get to see wholesome, thoughtful, handmade furniture like this properly staged in a historic building in the the urban core.
And Brush Factory's products are sought after for good reason. They're known for creating custom furniture for the likes of Union Hall, Salazar, the Cincinnati Art Museum, People's Liberty, and many more. Seeing a store filled with furniture good enough for prestigious entities like those is a little like going to a museum in and of itself.
