If you're reading this, you're likely used to seeing performances by the Cincinnati Ballet as well as traveling shows, such as Shen Yun, at the Aronoff Center for the Arts. Remember King Arthur from a few years ago? Man, that was a good show. The costumes and set design alone were—oh, sorry. I get a little carried away any time I think about it. (But seriously. A sequel to that. We need it.)
Anyway, coming to the theater on Saturday, October 6th is something you may not have seen before.
Introducing King Arthur II: One More Go Around The Round Table. Cincinnati-based dance company Anaya Belly Dance brings all new choreographies to the stage for their annual What Moves Us production. This is their sixth production at the Aronoff.
Guest artists join the dance company in the Jarson-Kaplan Theater for an evening of entertainment suitable for all ages. Technically skilled performers blend dance, theater and various music styles with old world belly dance to create original productions inspired by tradition.
