Well this one just isn’t fair.
I’m referring, of course, to the house (if indeed you can call this chateau a “house”) at 9005 Camargo Road in Indian Hill.
More specifically, I’m referring to the voodoo photography in the gallery above yonder introduction. Either Sibcy Cline hired a magician to take these photos, or the house is just that beautiful. Turns out it’s just that beautiful. (But the photography is plenty magical too.)
Now, I understand I’m supposed to describe 9005 Camargo in painstaking detail, rendering every molding and paneled wainscoting with sedulous clarity. But this is a “doff my cap and say no more” moment if I’ve ever seen one.
So take that lonely, wholly insufficient adjective – “beautiful” – as your starting point and see if you can come up with a few more for yourself while perusing the photos. Maybe a trip to Thesaurus.com will help.
Afterwards, come back here and I’ll tell you a bit more. Seriously, go ahead. I’ll be waiting.
…MMK, THIRSTY FOR DETAILS?
9005 Camargo Road is a 21,000-square-foot French Chateau on 5.3 acres of lush Indian Hill land. It has 6 beds and, according to Sibcy Cline, 7.3 baths. (What 30 percent of a bathroom looks like, I really don’t know.)
But wait, there’s more:
- Gourmet kitchen with marble/slate and counter bar
- Large master bedroom with walk-in closet and dressing area
- Media room
- Great room
- Bonus room (hurrah!)
- Finished basement
- Oversized garage with 20 (yes, twenty) spaces
- Patio, porch, and balcony
- In-ground pool
And you know what’s crazy? No, it’s not that this house costs $8 million. (Ok, it's $7,999,000, but what's a thousand bucks between friends?) It’s that it costs $8 million and it seems worth every penny.
This isn't a house that happens to be priced at $8 million; this is an $8-million-dollar house.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to find a way to get rich in the next five minutes so I can take this sucker off the market. Adieu.
