These Newly Renovated Apartments Near Mount Storm Park Are Stunning

In a lot of ways, the newly renovated upscale Clifton Gaslight District apartments at 500 Lafayette near Mount Storm Park represent the best of Cincinnati.

For one, the building is a century-old historic treasure, a shining example of the city’s rich and dignified past. But step inside and everything’s got that open, clean, and luxuriously modern vibe.

It’s also situated in a vibrant neighborhood, close to the celebrated bustle of downtown but not actually in the celebrated bustle of downtown. In fact, it’s so close to Over-the-Rhine that Findlay Market and Washington Park are just 10 minutes away.

More to the point, 500 Lafayette is a tucked-away oasis within the Clifton Gaslight District, one of the most enjoyable entertainment districts in the city. Its pet-friendly apartments are also just a few steps from Clifton’s Mount Storm Park, an arboreal overlook that’s perfect for dog walks and sunset strolls.

And while we’re on the subject of Clifton, the neighborhood is an undisputed international hub. If you’re looking for diversity and a sense of community, this is it. It’s home to students and professors, artists and young professionals, coffee-shop warriors, and doctors of medicine. It’s also home to single folks, young families, long-time Cliftonites, and downsizing empty nesters, all getting in on that unmistakable Gaslight District charm.

“But what’s there to do?” I’m glad you asked. Begin with a trip to the Esquire Theatre, then peruse the wares at Clifton Market. Have a scoop of Graeter’s Ice Cream, or head in the opposite dietary direction with some yoga. Coffee or beer? Parks or tennis courts? It’s your choice; the Gaslight District has it all.

Still, 500 Lafayette is on an island by itself. Situated serenely among the tree-lined street and majestic mansions of Lafayette Avenue, it’s one of those lustrous gems Cincinnati is so good about hiding. But soon it will be hidden no longer, at least to the few folks who'll have the good fortune of living here.

No two apartments are exactly alike, but here are a few general amenities:
